Executive Function in ADHD and Learning Disabilities

Sally Kohn: I first learned about the term executive function when my son started attending a learning disability school in second grade. She says they found that most of the children who are diagnosed with learning disabilities also had ADHD. Kohn: The whole school was built on strategies for living in the real world with learning disabilities in ADHD. In her professional organization business 10 years later, she started to see all of these executive functions being what was complicating the organization at home.
