The Turning Point for AR VR

I think I've gone back and forth on how I feel about the fact that this thing is reported to cost $3,000. It means in theory Apple can basically afford to throw every bit of power and spec and capability that it has into it. But also the other side of this is, if that's not enough, then VR is kind of dead and Apple looks really stupid,. That could be really extraordinary, right? And that could put more investment into better displays.
