There was an influence, i think generallyand with philosophy as well. Spinoza himself tried to explicate his whole system through the geometric order in a very rational way. But that whole rational way in the ethics, is main book with this notion of the intellectual love of god. Byby god, he means nature in this qualified sense. And this, again, then becomes like an intuition of the whole rational system. I've written about this in my chapter on spinoza and five m o d m t ind another book coming out called philosophy and psycho published by bloomsbury in may june. Other other forms of intuition as well can provide for such flashes of metaphysical intuition.
