Brain Awareness Week runs from March 13 to 19 and the challenge will comprise of seven simple brain healthy activities. Research suggests that a brain healthy lifestyle can reduce your risk of developing dementia later in life which is why brain health is so important. The Eat, Play, Rest initiative makes looking after your brain easy and breaks brain health down into three categories. This can be anything from catching up with a friend for a walk, packing a homemade lunch and taking time away from your screens to recalibrate and focus.
