How Tracy and Jess Plant Herbal Lays on Their Farm
Last year, encouraged by a British government scheme, Tracy and Jess planted two herbal lays. These are fields sewn with grasses, herbs and legumes that nourish the soil. Herbalies can be used to graze cows or to make hay. Couldn't the whole farm be planted with herbs for them to eat? Yeah, yeah absolutely. In corn I say we're just, it's a completely sort of new thing because we're supposed to be being more sustainable.
