The Importance of Narrative Design
Steven: Not every game needs narrative or every game tells a story in its own kind of particular way. I think the most interesting experiences that I've seen in games are like, you know, the discoveries that players make and then go share outside the game as they build their communities together. If you're creating a big virtual world, bury as much story as deep as you can,. But you don't need to spoon feed your audience with like a million cutscenes; let them go dig it out.
