The Fed's Operation Demand Distruction

BJ: The Fed is trying to destroy demand and they only have a certain amount of tools that they can do that with. When the economy grinds to a halt, that means people lose jobs,. That means businesses suffer, especially small businesses. And so there's the market sentiment among small, small business people who may not have the level of sophistication of Lawrence or FOSSP. But we know enough to sense that, you know what, things are not looking good in this economy.
