COMPLEXITY

CHAPTER

Is There a Cycle of Things Coming in and Out of Cities?

There's always sort of a cycle of thingsthatare attracted to cities and then move out of cities. A more personal example is, if you ask o again, some people like cities, sand people don't large cities in particular. And so there's always things coming in and out. But the place where you assemble and have access to the rarest, not always in reality, but potentially more valuable, more interesting things to be at are often worth it. So Cities are very dynamical, but theyare places where you are doing most of this.
