Ribbon Microphones - Are They Getting More Popular?
Ribbon microphones have a very warm, vintage tone to them. They add this interesting tone to it which is why i think ribbons have become more popular. And because they're not as fragile as they used to be. So that's jutt what i think. I mean, they used to kind of just be condensers and dynamics for the longest time in music production but ribbons have kind of found their way into there too.
