The Heart Breaking Aspect of Life

I think that life, as i embrace it more deeply, will break my heart. I have a decision to make about how i will understand the heart breaking aspect of life. It seems to meh my own experience of depression has, in fact, made my heart larger. But i also know that that day by day i have choices to make about whether to protect my heart against more heart breaking experience. Or whether to open it and take the risk, once again, that that it will be stretched into something larger.
