The Importance of Individualism in the US
In the US it's considered disrespectful to waste another person's time. If you're supposed to have an appointment at 4pm with somebody And you don't call ahead to apologize And tell them that you're gonna be late This is disrespectful in the US. People tend to take care of themselves and rely less on other people.
