Marxism and Class Consciousness
Theory that all true labor is unskilled labor. He wanted to reduce it to a common denominator, ultimately sweat and discomfort. One of the contradictions capitalism was considered as production forces becomes collective. They can talk to each other at the machines around the assembly line so that the actual forces of production become collectivized. This in turn creates a kind of class consciousness on the part of workers.
