The astor started out as a seramatist, but quickly moved on to community based art that sometimes incorporated performance. He turned the 90 fifth street subway stop into a massive public art project with decommissioned fire houses and an active dj booth. Part of his process included buying real estate to create spaces for community members to collaborate and build kills. It's something hit have always been fascinated by.
