We don't know yet enough to be able to fully evaluate what the possibilities are, but they certainly look promising because of the fact that the electric currents play a role in essentially all the functions of the body,. So if we can understand more, we can do more. It's like everything else in medicine for sure: The more you know, the more you can do.
