Academic Tuition Comes With a Special Responsibility

i'm not saying the students are blameless, but the idea that we should ever blame the students more than the adults around them is frustrating to me. And it feels like the students have gotten a lot of blame here, and not nearly enough. If you're a tenared yale law professor and telling me your concern is losing your job, my god, i wonder if you could ever get hired for another job again. Because while i think losing your job is incredibly serious, and i don't want to diminish that as a sanction,. when youre job is to teach principles, academic tenure comes with a special, unique responsibility.
