How I Succeeded in the Professional Side of Software Development
VB is frowned upon, but you have to put yourself back into the context of the time. It had a really great bridge toward access, which was a mini database or a maxi database at some points. But it really allowed you to do things really fast without understanding the whole stack. And I think that something you still don't get in nothing that exists today really - to some extent. So this is of course, my sort of early experience shaping my feelings about the state of technology.
