RTX's Engine Inspections Are Going to Cost Them $500 Million

Traytheon, formerly known as Raytheon, taking a big bite out of that stock along with some airlines. 200 of these engines need to be inspected in the coming weeks and another thousand over the next year. They're looking for powdered metal contaminants. There are 3000 GTF engines in service worldwide. These are about 40% of the Airbus A320neos worldwide.
