The Origin of Paul's Religion
The Origin of Paul's Religion published in 1921 was based on lectures he gave at Union Seminary Richmond. Machen makes a point that it wasn't clear in Jesus' teaching how the Gentiles were to be received in the church. He also raises another question: Was Paul, by virtue of his laying out the ways in which Gentiles came into the church, as some liberal scholars claim?
