The Impossibility of Inquiry

The first sentence of the mnamsa sutra is, now then, an inquiry into dharma. The yoga sutra begins with another admirably straightforward line, now an exposition of yoga. As in a well-run modern-day yoga class, you know where you stand. Early commentators openly raise worries about the very possibility of inquiry.
