The Evolution of Gouache Painting

We were locked in space together partly because we made this choice to use gouache, a paint that we'd not used before. There was loads of reasons behind it. We had a space that we was a very small space that we could work in and it just ended up being like a very sort of something that we normally do in other ways. I'm really interested in the fact that the shift was much more of a material one and it relates to gouache, which is a gouache dry. That was so exciting,. So we started looking at some very old maps that were made by an Arabic pirate around sort of our medieval time. A lot of them were painted on vellum
