Every conversation and intraction we have with our friends, our boss or partner or family sits on top of an incredibly complex psychological matrix. A professor at the university of chicago named nick epley did a series of very entertaining studies which look at how good we are at discerning the intentions, thoughts and emotions of the people around us. He found that even their ability to guess the partners ponse is only slightly better than chance. And this epley says, can lead to problems in our relationships.
