The DeLorean, the Studio, It's a Studio, You Know?
"I wanted the film to be timeless, which means that a kid from the 50s or a kid from 2020 could connect to this story," says director. "It was about building a common space and time, because the film was the DeLorean, so the studio is the DeLorean." The house's design also allows for an organic flow of movement between actors on-set - something you can't get in a real house. But there's another layer that's so interesting with this film, and that is the very real layer of the location outside, the external location is this forest where you play it as a child.
