How to Write a Cliche
Cliche is probably the most terrifying word for a screenwriter or any kind of creative professional, right? We are all terrified of being cliche, and sometimes to an extent that it actually damages our writing. What I want you to do is look at your cliche, not even as a red flag, but as a yellow flag for a rewrite. The cliche is inviting you to look, listen, and feel more specifically.
