Is There Any Truth to That?

Jimmy Fallon was a good boss. It was never like weird except for once a week. There would be a morning meeting where they would talk about what went on the night before or things they wanted to do that week. The monologue guys I'd gotten there hours before everyone else except the other monologue team would be in a room next to that room typing away, trying to write my 70% or 85 jokes and it drove me nuts. And so occasionally I would come up with an idea that I actually liked and all the other writers would think it was funny but it was like not for the show but I would just lean into it.
