Are We Predators to Wild Animals?
The book is a look at how humans have conceptioalized their relationship to wild animals in past and in different places around the world. The idea that humans aren't an animal somehow did become a powerful one in western thought, but i also kind of do a little bit of a pushing back against that. There are even places within the sort of western christian based culture where we think about individual animals like their kind of people with agency. So it was interesting. You could obviously write a whole book, or a whole series of books about human relationships to wild animals.
