The Role of Ultrasound in Scapular Fractures

ultrasound in the mild to moderate head injured kids pocus has been shown to be useful and reliable. On balance yes good for skull fracture the problem is when you find it if it's acute we'll need to go on to CT to make sure that there's no bleeding underneath that fracture intracranially so that's the bit of the difficulty so it's coming but i'm not sure that we're ready to replace or obviate the need for the CT as yet.
