We've Retreated From Judgment or Are We Really in a Backlash Moment?

I actually wrote a sub-stack post a few weeks ago titled something like all we have is judgment because I think very often rancorous angry political disputes that get couched in terms of ideological or partisan affiliation or attachment is often a kind of distraction from what we're really talking about. You know there's this huge and then every position between those different extreme judgments I just listed we all sort of go through our daily life and looking at politics and make very very strong judgments on in those different positions but then argue on their basis as if it's self-evidently true when most cases it is not self-evident.
