Every one's process is going to be different here. People have been misdiagnosed as depressed when they are just going through a perfectly normal grief process. A huge current that ran underneath this conversation that i'm not sure that i ever named overtly, and i kind of wish that i had, is self compassion,. giving yourself a break for the intense and painful emotions that come up during a normal, natural, perfectly typical, and also completely unique grief process.
