You could do a time projection where you see yourself in five years or 10 years or 20 years and have a conversation with your future self. But also you could practice distraction, like when you start thinking about your ex distract yourself with concentrating intensely on things that give you joy. Just like get into things that you enjoy that give you pleasure.
