The book of job is hard to read because it's poetry, and people in general aren't very good at reading poetry. The king james english translation hides the fact that it is poetry, presenting it as if it were prose rather than a poem,. It makes it really hard to read. I think anything that presents it in modern english as poetry that'll work. Any contemporary translation in modern English would be fine - especially if it prevents it being presented as verse a. If you are interested in trying to dip your toes into the book of jobs then i recommend taking it slow... You can get over the ump of just trying to understand what's being said by following its structure.
