How I Learned to Play Guitar

I started playing guitar when I was seven and I did the classical grade. And then at about 17, 16, 17, I saw Martin Taylor as a jazz guitar player. He did a solo concert and blew my mind to smithereens. So I got really into jazz and ended up doing like a jazz degree. During my jazz degree, you know, in jazz, there are jazz standards. You're learning to improvise over the top of like, fly me to the moon or autumn leaves or Stella by Starla. That's how I got into songwriting. A lot of my songwriting hearts back to that era.
