The Jury Acquitted David Stewart of All Charges

David Stewart was found not guilty of all charges by a Kentucky jury. He had been accused of making three-hour phone call to Mount Washington McDonald's in which Laura Fletcher said she would get 'big check' after ordeal. Law enforcement agencies across the country were waiting to see how the trial against Stewart panned out. For many of the scam calls that occurred prior to Laura Fletcher's assault, the only crime Stewart could have been charged with was a misdemeanor.
