Aziraphil's Backslide

I thought the this was an absolutely devastating sequence for the reasons that you said, I think like from Aziraphil's perspective. This is something that he so obviously has wanted and longed for. And it's also true that sometimes people aren't ready to like go of a thing that they know is bad for them or wrong. So like this backslide felt like the most human thing he's ever done.
