The Implications of a Common Domain Typography for the US Military
The dot M-I-L domain used by the US military often gets typed in as dot M-L, the country code domain for Mali. Since January, this captured more than 117,000 emails. The emails include things like sensitive medical records, identity documents and military based photos. It's a blocked you can't send email to Mali without special approval if you're working within the DoD.
