The Rhetoric of the Gun Lobby
The odds are that between the time I'm recording this and the time you're listening, there will have been another mass shooting here in the United States. What to do about that is a really tough problem, and it's one that our current debate doesn't seem able to tackle. We can save so many lives, and we don't even have to argue much to do it. Most of us agree that when a gun is used to kill someone, we should be able to trace that gun without seven phone calls in a microfilm machine.
