Biodegradable dog poo bags can lie around for a long time before breaking down into microplastics that cause damage to the environment. The Environmental Services Association say they are not aware of an industrial composter taking dog waste in the UK. We asked listeners Nicola and Craig what they think about biodegradable bag claims. If you're unsure, look for bags with very high recycled content instead.
