The report found that more than 70 % of the skills it examined not even mentioning alexander or amazon, and only ten skills were clear about data collection practices in their privacy policies. For its part, amazons reimheld said, many of the conclusions in this research are based on inaccurate inferences or speculation by the authors and do not accurately reflect how alexander works. The researchers concluded that there is a clear unmet need for greater transparency and control over data collections, sharing and use by smart speaker platforms.
