David saw messages on Ricky Jones's phone to a friend which would have confirmed her fears. There were several times, actually, way jokes about murdering her. He talks about killing her, killing off his hefty wife with his shovel hands. Now, what also found the phone had much wider significance just than the terrible situation that he put his family through. This phone basically reveals Ricky's messages between 41 serving and retired police officers that go from the rank of Constable up to Chief Inspector. Those messages cover everything from homophobia to racism to misogyny. Police officers discussing amongst themselves how fellow male police officers have been grooming and groping and abusing female colleagues.
