The Alchemist's Journey Is Fermentation
The next step on the alchemist's journey is fermentation. She says this is where we learn to maintain inner silence. And this is often when we experience the dark night of the soul. When you are below meeting on that vertical plane, it is impossible to get any perspective on above. The universe is challenging you really to ask yourself: Is this really what you want? Our job isn't necessarily to push through it. Our job is to sit with it.
