There's a lot of anime in English now. A lot of it has been translated and dubbed meaning its English speaking actors doing it. I find that actually I have a harder time understanding the speech sometimes because of the actor's pronunciation. For English speakers, Shakespeare is our version of Tolstoy. It can be a little tough to follow for me with listening. But yeah, go ahead and read it still for enjoyment. That's okay.
