The Importance of Prayer
Mary left Martha to pick up the table alone and because everybody likes serving but no one likes to pick up well that could be true. Our Lord signs with Mary and he tells Martha in a very solemn way Martha Martha when a Jew repeats somebody's name twice it is a very solemn occasion. This repetition of the name is the equivalent of saying Martha pay attention I'm going to tell you somethingVery important lesson is that Mary who is listening to our Lord's words at his feet will not be interrupted.
