The Cohort Effect and the Wealth Gap

One would expect that between the generations there's a huge gap in attitudes to sexuality, climate change. Is that true? Okay really good question and we need to disaggregate those slightly. So one of the patterns that I see through doing the analysis is this almost constant ratio where the youngest generation is twice as comfortable with an emerging social norm as the oldest generation within that. That is true of comparing baby boomers with their parents on things like attitudes the women's role in the workplace and homosexuality for example.
