GP committee chair Dr. Kiris Shahrak says there's a massive shortage of GPs in the UK. Funding for GP services is based on each patient consulting about four to six times a year, she says. The numbers just don't really add up anymore, and that's just not sustainable, Ms Shahrak adds.
