I think whenever you hear a sort of a cultural stereotype, you have to really assume that it's wrong. Like if you were to go back to the 19 fifties or sixties, the widely held view among americans was that chinese people were lazy. So i would speculate it similar with the view of europeans as tes, you know, silk shirted a a weaklingsno, that's a great point about china. That's part of the reason the us got involved in the korean war. Douglas mc arthur thought not just that the chinese were lazy, but that they were cowards. They wanted to take over all the korean peninsula
