The Life and Times of Charles Jr.
Charles Jr. took off from Roosevelt field in Long Island, New York on May 20th, 1927. He was flying a monoplane named spirit of St. Louis and he crossed the Atlantic to Paris. During his trip, he traveled more than 3600 miles and there was a crowd of more than a hundred thousand people waiting for him. "I mean, he literally changed the future," says Charles Jr.
