John Profumo was a minister with cool girls and Soviet military Tasha in the picture. Today there's a normal person making a normal mistake at a normal age online. And people are thinking about it. So what it means is we're telling people simply to act in the world less and less. This brings us back to the thing about the retributive attitude towards history. We have this thing always going around in Britain about Churchill. It comes up every couple of years or so. He drank too much, but that doesn't seem to me to be a vice. Orton the fact that he was willing to stand alone and make his country stand alone against Hitler at that juncture.
