GPT-3 was still a mad dream whose moments of lucidity were too scarce and fleeting to organise into a coherent investigation. The AI dungeon interface did not support branching, so I saved alternate paths to hyperlinked Google Docs. All multiverse storage methods available to me required either copying text from multiple locations in order to resume the simulation state at another branch or an unworkable pile of mostly redundant texts. For the first time now, I could see and select between up to a dozen completions to the same prompt at once.
