The Flynn Effect on IQ Scores
A recent study from researchers at Northwestern University suggests that the average IQ scores in the US has actually decreased in recent years. Now, this is a major shift in a phenomenon that's known as the Flynn effect where IQ scores have risen from about 1932 through the 20th century by about three to five points per decade. A lot of people are confused because a lot of people haven't taken IQ tests so like what is this thing? And there are different measures of IQ, but I think in general, these are tests that try to test your cognitive skills and logical reasoning problem solving, et cetera.
