The Life and Times of Oasis

Oasis' second album What's the Story Morning Glory went to number one in seven countries and remains one of the best selling UK albums ever. 2000 standing on the shoulder of Giants was recorded by just the Galagas and drummer Alan White following which Noel formed his own record label, Sour Mash Records. Highfying Bird was formed in 2010 and our guest's first self-titled album under that moniker was released 12 months later. Unsurprisingly Noel was presented with an Ivan Ovelo Award for Outstanding Song Collection in 2013 - you can hear a selection of tracks from that collection as well as cuts from Who Build the Moon.
