The Symbolism of Chameets and Matzah

The relationship between time and timelessness is at the center of the Exodus narrative. A slave owner doesn't want his slaves to waste time preparing food so he gives them matzah. Even the word Seder, Seder means order or sequence alluding to the concept of time. The Passover lamb is unique because it must be eaten in a shorter window of time than any other sacrifices.
